The United Missions of Hope Memorial Scholarship and its higher educational opportunity is strategically developed and placed to assist the impoverished communities of the Western Highlands and the Lake Atitlan regions of Guatemala. Guatemala's Western Highlands, where many Maya communities live, are frequently described as having some of the highest concentrations of poverty, malnutrition, and educational exclusion in Central America.

Many students here only dream about an education due to the economic struggles of their families. Join us in lifting up these brilliant leaders of tomorrow who have the desire to learn. We’re working within a global movement of change to reduce the hardships of poverty through quality education.

Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by families in Guatemala's Western Highlands and Lake Atitlán region, we are passionate about creating pathways to opportunity through education. We believe that every student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and pursue their God-given potential, regardless of their economic circumstances. By investing in education today, we help empower future leaders, strengthen communities, and bring lasting hope to generations to come.
