The United Missions of Hope Memorial Scholarship is the core initiative to see the advancement in education for this Mayan community. "Las Busqueda de Conocimiento," "The Pursuit of Knowledge" is our motivational theme towards their progress. It is a blessing to partner with Tecnológico Bethel, a Christian school in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala, assisting their students with this first of two critical educational steps in becoming a professional.

Please give a warm welcome to our 2025 recipients of The United Missions of Hope Memeorial Scholarship. Kenndhel and Daily both join UMH with educational aspirations towards becoming future professionals. This highly successful program invests in their personal and professional growth developing the future leaders who will reinvest their talents into the community.
Kenndhel, lives in San Juan La Laguna and is fulfilling his dream of studying at Tecnológico Bethel, studying graphic design as he prepares for university. In the future, Kenndhel would like to work in the field of digital marketing as he has a thirst and inspiration for technology. Kenndhel learned of the UMH opportunity through his church where he has been baptized, serves God, and serves other children. You may remember D'yanna from 2022? That's right, D'yanna is part of that same youth group and shared about her experience with the scholarship opportunity and encouraged him to apply! The good news is spreading for sure. Daily, from San Pedro La Laguna also joins UMH as a graphic design student. When Daily learned about the scholarship offered at Tecnológico Bethel she was still in what we would call junior high. Having to wait, she stayed focused and determined on achieving this opportunity. She is a motivated young lady and deserving of our dedicated scholarship we offer. Daily is in pursuit of one being a missionary and will study clinical psychology at the university level of education.
It is a blessing to meet the students, their families, and award them with our official program. It is way more than tuition. It is an investment into a meaningful relationship. We all experience growth and fellowship through this process. We have quickly developed a great relationship with both Kenndhel and Daily. Both students excited and engaged from the moment they received their acceptance notices. As the first quarter grades have arrived both have performed at high levels and eager for more. We wish them well on their journey and it is a privilege to be a part of it. God's plan is truly perfect, and we too are grateful for the opportunity.
